Let’s play Apollo’s cithara
The kithara (or cithara) was an ancient Greek musical instrument.
The kithara was a seven-stringed instrument used by professional musicians.It was made of wood and it was very heavy.
Don’t worry, our cithara will be a light one!
You need:
- Cardboard or styrofoam;
- Scissors;
- Twine;
- Black felt-tip pen.
- Download the image of Apollo’s cithara;
- Cut it off;
- Place it above the cardboard or above the styrofoam and draw the perimeter by a black marker;
- Cut off the silhouette (pay attention!);
- Make 5 holes at the bottom and on the top;
- Insert the twine.
